The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) is a state-level exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE) for candidates who wish to teach in government, aided, and unaided schools in Odisha. The exam is conducted in two papers, Paper 1 for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8.

To be eligible to appear for the OTET, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks. The age limit for the OTET is 21 to 35 years.
